For the first time in his long career Beppe Grillo -one of the most popular Italian comedian and activist- crosses the Italian borders to offer his hilarious and socially committed performance in two European capitals: the 27th of January in London and the 6th of February in Paris.
Beppe Grillo was born in 1948 and gained popularity in the mid seventies performing in television programs. He is the creator of the so called economic-ecological satire. The aim of his satire moves from politics to the consumer economy, passing through health and environmental issues.
After spending many years on television, cinema, theatres and big venues he found out the web communication power and in 2005 he set up his famous blog www.beppegrillo.it considered one of the most clicked in the world with 160.000 viewers a day. The same year of the launch of such a successful blog the TIME magazine nominated Beppe Grillo as one of the “European Heroes 2005”.
In 2007-08 he organizes two happenings called V-DAY on the streets of more than 200 Italian cities and 30 cities abroad. In few hours he collected hundreds of thousands of people signing for a petition in order to bring a proposal of popular law at the president of the parliament.
To confirm his never ending popularity his last monologue at the RAI national television “San Remo Festival” had 22 million viewers.
It is a very recent news the controversial candidacy as a politician which brought him a massive exposure on all the Italian newspapers.
